*Leila Bakry-Becker*: (Lead/Background Vocals, Violin, Hand Percussion)

A singer since before she could walk, she started by listening to and singing along with her Daddy’s 45rpm Buddy Holly records in the family basement (anybody still remember what those are~!???).  At about the same time she started musical training on the violin~!   She enjoys all kinds of music, and plays violin when she has time, but her first love is singing.  She has played with local garage-band and performance groups as time permitted for the past number of years:  Mosaic, MissGuyded, Second Thoughts, Dog Years to name a few.  When not working or singing, she can be found with her nose in a book, or kicking back with her family, including a dog and four (!??) cats.

*Tom Hester*:  (Lead/Rythm Guitar, Lead/Backup Vocals)

Currently a DC-based singer/songwriter multi-instrumentalist – isn’t that a handful - !  Multifaceted musician well versed in all things classic rock thereof.  Don’t call him out on rock music background – he’s a veritable treasure-trove of rock and roll musicology…!  He’s known around the DC/MD/VA area playing in multiple bands and solo combos.  This background has suited him well in support of his performances and songwriting endeavors.  He arrived in the DC area via Oklahoma, Missouri, New York, Illinois, Michigan and Indiana..

*Mike Carter*:  (Lead/Rythm Guitar, Lead/Backup Vocals)

Been playing guitar for so long, can't remember not having one around.  Raised on country music at the foot of his old man, who was a performer and musician in his own right, since birth - and started out being his 'personal roadie’ for starters ~!  Decided that the best way to rebel and really tick him off was to take his first electric guitar and start jamming on classic rock – before it was such a thing.  Been playing live in a variety of bands, from Top 40 to classic (and one side trip into an outlaw country band - 'what the???'), for way too long to count - and can't see quitting anytime soon~!  Played all over the place, from Iceland (‘Iceland’~!!!) to Southern Maryland, NoVa to PG County.  Arrived in the DC area via a long and convoluted route in the military and New York…

*Jimmy Smith*:  (Bass/Occasional Backup Vocals)

Bass, bass, and bass – what more can you say…!  Started out as a bass player in some serious punk rock, alt rock and just plain rock back in the day and just ‘keeps on keepin’ on’.  Local dude, played in bands on the edge of breakin’ through – in the punk vein - !  Played in multiple bands over decades and still rockin’.  Like the rest of the band – just can’t muster the resolve to quit the business just yet – to the benefit of us all.  When he’s not rockin’ out – he brews some serioussssssss craft beers on the side - !  He is a true local boy…

*Jeff Kushner*:  (Drums)

Locally based drummer out of MD.  Resident Beatle fanatic and sound system afficianado (owns an audiophile’s dream of a home audio system that will melt your face).  Being the resident Beatle fanatic means….you guessed it; he has and continues to play in Beatles oriented bands throughout his performance history and to date - !  He religiously hones his craft and has studied under some of the most prominent ‘percussionists’ in the DC/MD area.  Like the other members, Jeff is a highly seasoned performer and played in a number of combos in the local area over many decades…
